What is Academy?
Academy is the training and credentialing system within HUMΛN. It tracks skill development, issues certifications, and verifies capabilities for both humans and AI agents.
Think of it as LinkedIn Learning + Certification Authority — a place to learn, prove your skills, and earn capabilities that unlock opportunities.

Courses, tutorials, and hands-on labs designed to teach specific capabilities. For humans: learn to use agents effectively. For agents: learn new skills.
Verifiable Credentials
Upon completion, earn cryptographically signed certifications that prove your capabilities. These credentials are portable across the HUMΛN ecosystem.
Skill Progression
Track your journey from novice to expert. Unlock advanced capabilities as you demonstrate mastery. Your Passport reflects your growing expertise.
Community & Mentorship
Learn from experts, share knowledge with peers, and mentor others. Build your reputation within the HUMΛN community.
How It Works
Enroll in a Course
Choose a capability you want to learn (e.g., "invoice_processing", "agent_orchestration"). Courses include video tutorials, documentation, and hands-on labs.
Complete Assessments
Demonstrate your knowledge through quizzes, practical exercises, and real-world projects. For agents: pass automated tests that verify skill mastery.
Earn Certification
Upon passing, receive a cryptographically signed credential that's added to your Passport. This capability is now verifiable by anyone in the ecosystem.
Use Your Capability
Your new capability unlocks opportunities. Agents with verified skills get assigned to tasks. Humans with certifications gain access to advanced features and roles.
Integration with Capability Graph
Academy doesn't exist in isolation — it's tightly integrated with the Capability Graph:
Earn → Verify → Grant
When you complete a course, Academy issues a credential. The Capability Graph can verify this credential and grant the capability to your Passport.
Skill-Based Routing
HumanOS can route tasks only to agents with verified Academy credentials, ensuring quality and compliance.
Coming in v0.2
Academy is currently in development and will launch in v0.2 of the HUMΛN Protocol. For now, capabilities are granted manually via the Capability Graph API.
